BRBC September 16, List Contruction Day:

1) Read over updating the DB, which is here http://www.the-gleasons.com/church_record_maintenance.doc

2) Download the EXCEL file from www.the-gleasons.com/downloads  password AIG-DC, we will be using this for LOOKUP, not editing it.  We will Edit the MySQL file, which is here: http://www.criacionismo.org/aig/edit/churches.php

You all should have user accounts.  Login and test it prior to Saturday.

3) We will do the following Counties:

Christian Schools  334 records

Virginia

    Alexandria  0 records,  Zip Codes for Alexandria  County ID will be ALEX-xxxx ------Fred Pearce did this

    Arlington  145 records,  Zip Codes for Arlington

    Loudoun  0 records,  Zip Codes for Loudoun       County ID will be LOUDOUN-xxxx------Jim Shipe worked this

    Orange    0 records,  Zip Codes for Orange          County ID will be ORANGE-xxxx  Tad Butler worked this

    Stafford   59 records,  Zip Codes for Stafford     Ron Reese worked this

Maryland

    Calvert  59 records,  Zip Codes for Calvert   Jeremy Gibson worked this

    Charles  80 records. Zip Codes for Charles  Fred Pearce worked this

    St. Mary's  0 records Zip Codes for St. Mary's   County ID will be STMARYS-xxxx    Chap Gleason worked this.

4) When you ADD a record to the DB (not edit or Change and existing record) use the SAME county ID for existing records, but start your numbering at 1001.

Example suppose I am adding a church in Calvert County Mary, that already has 59 records in the DB.  Start your number at CALVERT-1001, in this way we will have unique IDs but we will know which records existed and which records were added.
